Sky Angel Coyboy

I saw this a few weeks ago, and it really touched my heart. It is a great video that reminds me of scripture found in the book of Luke:
People were also bringing babies to Jesus to have him touch them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
Luke 18: 15-17

More pics from the Middleton Place Garden Festival

My First Photo Entry!!

Here is the picture I would like to share with you. I will post several other pictures from this event because I really enjoyed it. My cousin Cori (who's expecting), her husband Eric and my little cousin Taylor are coming down in June. I hope that I can take them to the plantations when the visit. I think it is so peaceful to be in places like this.

"And the LORD will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. Isaiah 58:11

I guess I figured out how to add a weblink... Now I figure I will try to add a picture. We attended the Garden Festival in 2007 with our friends Craig, Lisa, Mike and Ingrid. We had a great time! I love to garden and love spending quality time with friends. I love the Charleston collectible houses by Sheila and was able to purchase one of her newest products. It is a beautiful metal sculpture that I can put in our back yard. I can't wait to showcase it!! When we were leaving the festival, we were told to take as many shrubs as we could (they were free). We felt as if we had won the lottery!! I look forward to the next Garden Festival.

First Posting

I am currently in a technology class for education at Charleston Southern University (where Linn teaches) and had to complete a major final course project utilizing the web. Well, after visiting my friend Rachel's blog, I decided I would love to do one too. I think it is a great idea when you have friends and family that live quite a ways away. So, bear with me. I will be trying to add things like pictures, music, weblinks. I look forward to posting things that I can share with you in the future....I will start by trying to add a weblink to the place that has made an everlasting impression on our lives, our church. We have been attending the Fellowship of Oakbrook since 2006. It has become a place for worship, friendship and growth. http://www.fellowship.org/
