32 1/2 Weeks!

So, today I am 32 1/2 weeks along. Less than 8 weeks to go! This weekend Linn and my dad put up crown molding in the babies room (that's where I am standing in the picture). It looks awesome, but will look even more finished once Linn is able to caulk around the edges. My dad and Linn also put up this wainscoting a few weeks ago. Doesn't it look awesome?? Little by little the room is coming together. I wonder if she will understand how much we have looked forward to welcoming her. She is truly loved, and hasn't even been born yet! My mom and I cleaned the kitchen from top to bottom this past weekend (even every cabinet). We decided where bottles will be stored and other baby items. I am looking forward to my OBGYN appointment tomorrow to see the progress in my growth (weight, measurement). Now, we will be going twice a week for the next few weeks. The anticipation is here and I can't imagine how our lives will be completely different in less than two months. We truly can't wait....the countdown has really begun!

30 Week Ultrasound Today

So....we had the thirty week ultrasound today. My mom and dad were able to come. Unfortunately, she seems to have Linn's personality (stubborn)! Hopefully she isn't going to be like her dad all the time (like a bull in a china shop) :)! She would not let us get a glimpse of her face. The only thing she would show us up close was her foot! She is approximately 3 lbs 11ozs. They said that she is measuring at 31 weeks, therefore our due date would be pushed up 5 days. However, only ONE knows the day and time she will come to meet us.....and it's not the Doctor! Keep us in your thoughts and prayers over the next few weeks. We can't wait to see her!

30 weeks tomorrow!

So I will be at 30 weeks tomorrow. Has time flown or what? I only have ten weeks to go.....I can't believe that we are getting so close. The thought of being a mother is finally starting to sink in! Jake is getting excited to meet his new playmate. I just hope he doesn't confuse her toys with as his own! Two weekends ago, my parents and grandparents stopped in for a visit. They surprised us with the crib. It is so pretty. It is hard to believe that there will be a little angel in there very soon. Linn is getting excited too. I think he is going to be a wonderful dad (and a great diaper changer too)! On President's day we will have our 30 week ultrasound. My parents will be joining us. They will get to see how much she really likes to roll, punch and play. I look forward to these coming weeks and can't wait to see her picture on Monday!
